In a crayon box on a desk so grand, Lay colors waiting, a vibrant band. Reds and blues, yellows so bright, Hiding from fingers, with all their might.
Afraid of being used, chipped, or worn, Two crayons shivered, forlorn. Crayon One, a bold, bright Blue, Crayon Two, a sunny, happy Hue.
Blue worried much, with a whispered sigh, "Oh, what if they press too hard, and I die?" Yellow chuckled, a warm, gentle sound, "Nonsense, dear Blue, fun is to be found!"
One day a hand, so small and neat, Opened the box, oh what a treat! The child chose Blue, then Yellow so grand, "Let's draw a picture!" in crayon in hand.
First came a sky, a glorious Blue, Then a shining sun, for Yellow to do. They colored together, side by side, No longer afraid, with joyous pride.
They drew green grass, and flowers so red, A happy little house, above their head. They painted a world, so bright and so new, Together, the crayons, and the child, too!
Blue and Yellow, no longer afraid, Their colors united, a promise made. For together they learned, a lesson so true, Friendship makes magic, in all that you do!
The drawing complete, a vibrant display, The world was now colorful, bright as the day. And the two best crayon friends, happy and free, Had created a masterpiece, for all eyes to see!
