Falling from the sky, a tiny white star, The Winter Snowflake's Dance begins, not far. A snowy blanket, soft and deep, Where winter secrets, the forest keep.
Little Snowflake, light and free, Drifting down for all to see. Wind, the playful winter sprite, Whistles a tune with all his might.
"Whee! Whee! Snowflake, come and play!" Wind called out on this winter day. The Trees, with branches frosted white, Stood watching, bathed in silver light.
Snowflake twirled, a dizzying spin, A tiny dancer, letting fun begin. Wind scooped her up, a whooshing ride, Across the snowy landscape, side to side!
She danced past rooftops, covered in snow, Past sleeping squirrels, down below. She swirled with others, a frosty cloud, A silent chorus, singing soft and loud.
Then, Wind slowed down, his breath grew light, The swirling dance grew calm and bright. Snowflake fluttered, a gentle thing, No longer flying on Wind's strong wing.
Lower and lower, she softly flew, A perfect landing, shiny and new. Right on a nose, a ticklish treat, Melting away, bittersweet!
