In spooky woods, where shadows creep, And ancient trees their secrets keep, Lived a friendly ghost, quite round and white, Alone, he sighed throughout the night.
He longed for games, for fun and glee, But forest creatures ran from he! He floated sadly, near a tree, "Oh, won't someone be friends with me?"
An owl, with eyes of golden gleam, Hooted softly, like a dream. "Who's there?" the ghost, he softly cried, The owl swooped down, "No need to hide!"
"Let's play a game!" the ghost did cheer, "Hide and seek, are you in here?" The owl would hoot, then fly away, The ghost would giggle, "Come and play!"
A firefly, with tiny light, Joined in the fun throughout the night. They played tag, with glows and hoots, Around the trees, with leafy roots.
The forest floor, a dance of light, Ghost, owl, firefly, a joyful sight! No longer lonely, sad, or blue, The friendly ghost had made friends, it's true! He laughed with glee; his heart was light; He made new friends quickly in the night!
