In a cozy forest cabin, snug and warm, Lived Barnaby Bear, weathering every storm. But inside, a secret, a little bear sigh, Lonely bear needed friend, beneath the sky.
One sunny morning, through the trees so green, Came Rosie, a girl, the prettiest ever seen. With eyes like the sky and hair like the sun, She skipped through the woods, her adventure begun.
Barnaby watched, behind a big oak tree, Could this be a friend, just waiting for he? He lumbered on out, with a hesitant wave, Rosie giggled and smiled, so brave and so suave.
They shared juicy berries, sweet and bright red, And told silly stories, inside Barnaby's shed. Of mischievous squirrels and singing blue jays, They laughed till their tummies echoed through the days.
Barnaby showed Rosie his secret honey stash, Rosie told Barnaby about her playful splash, In the babbling brook, where the fishes all gleam, They built a strong friendship, a wonderful dream.
They painted with mud and danced in the rain, Whispering secrets that eased every pain. No longer lonely, no longer blue, Barnaby and Rosie, a friendship brand new!
Now snuggled together, as fireflies glow, Best friends forever, that's all they both know. In the cozy cabin, filled with love and with light, Barnaby and Rosie, shining ever so bright!
