Up in the sunny sky, so blue, Floated a cloud, a grumpy hue. The Sun shone bright, a golden gleam, But Cloud just sighed, it would seem.
Always felt so grey and glum, Like thunder rumbling in his tum. Little birds chirped, "Cheer up, Cloud! Don't wear that stormy, sulky shroud!"
The Sun peeked out, a playful wink, "Let go of gloom, I truly think, A smile would suit you, don't you see? Come on, dear Cloud, just smile at me!"
But Cloud just grumbled, dark and deep, And let some raindrops gently weep. Then, WHOOSH! A breeze came dancing near, And tickled Cloud behind the ear.
Raindrops turned to rainbows bright, A change! A glorious, joyful sight! The birds all sang a happy tune, Beneath the sun and silver moon.
The grumpy cloud began to shake, A giggle bubbled, for goodness sake! He puffed and puffed, then let it go, A tiny smile began to show.
The Sun beamed down with extra zest, The birds all chirped, "You look your best!" The Cloud then laughed, a happy sound, As colours danced all around!
Now a happy, fluffy cloud, He danced with sun, and sang aloud. No longer grey, but light and free, Smiling for all the world to see!
