In Whispering Woods, where sunlight dappled low, Lived a squirrel named Pip, with a hesitant toe. He longed for adventure, a climb to the sky, But heights made him tremble, and brought a small cry. Wise old Hoot the owl, with eyes shining bright, And sly Foxy Fred, with fur burning light, Would watch little Pip, with a knowing old glance, As he stayed on the ground, missing out on a chance. "Oh, to climb the Great Oak!" Pip whispered one day, Its branches like ladders, reaching far, far away. But fear held him captive, a prickly, cold chain, He just couldn't imagine enduring the pain. Then a rumbling sound, made the forest all shake, A wild wind was blowing, for goodness sake! The Great Oak was swaying, a dangerous dance, And Hoot the old Owl, was stuck in a trance! Fred the sly Fox, just chuckled with glee, "Let the wind take him," he thought, wicked as could be! But Pip felt a courage, a fire ignite, He knew he must help, with all of his might! He scrambled and scurried, so quick and so bold, A bravery rising, a story untold! Up, up he climbed, past branches so high, Ignoring the wind, reaching for the sky! He stretched a small paw, pulled Hoot from the breeze, And safely they landed, amongst rustling trees. Fred the sly Fox, just stared in surprise, At Pip, the small squirrel, with brave, shining eyes. From that day on, Pip knew, deep in his heart, That courage resides, where adventures restart. The tallest of trees, held no fear anymore, For the brave little squirrel, had found strength to soar!
In a house of giggles, paint so bright, With windows winking in the sun's warm light, Lived friends named Pip, and Bess, and Lou, Ready for fun, a playful crew! "Let's build a castle!" Pip declared with glee, From blankets, pillows, wild and free! Bess grabbed a sheet, a vibrant blue, While Lou fetched chairs, a helpful view. A fortress rising, walls of red, Imagination filling every head! "A dragon's coming!" Bess did shout, As Lou with pillows, knocked him out! They laughed and whispered, planned and built, No grumpy faces, never spilt Their joyful teamwork, strong and true, A magic castle, me and you! The sun went down, the stars appeared, Their blanket castle, oh so cheered! For even when the day is done, Friendship's fortress is forever one!
In forests deep, where shadows play, Fairies' Magic Glow The trees stand tall, in emerald gowns, With mossy carpets, soft and brown. A silver stream, a gentle breeze, Whispering secrets through the trees. Glowing, softly, in the night, A fairy circle, pure and bright. Tiny fairies, wings so sheer, Dancing 'round, banishing all fear. They flit and flutter, a joyful sight, Their laughter echoes, light and bright. Each holds a star, a tiny gleam, Living out a magical dream. "Make a wish!" they softly call, To any creature, big or small. Close your eyes and think it true, The fairies' magic shines for you! They gather moonbeams, silver thread, And weave a spell, so gently spread. The flowers bloom in vibrant hues, As every wish, the magic brews. Now wish upon a dream of flight, And soar among the stars so bright. Let your spirits take full flow, Watch how fairies help them grow. And when the dawn begins to break, A trail of stardust, they forsake. Leaving only sparkle bright, A reminder of the magic night.
A Space Shuttle Landing Blast off done, adventures spun, Back to Earth, the journey's run! On launchpad bright, in morning light, The shuttle waits, a silver kite. Smoke billows, a mighty roar, Ready to fly, and explore! Brave Astronauts, with eyes so keen, Prepare to land, a thrilling scene. Captain Clara, and Pilot Pete, Their mission grand, can't be beat! From starry void, they start to fall, A fiery streak, answering duty's call. The heat shield glows, a blazing might, A shooting star, in the dark of night. Lower and lower, the shuttle glides, Through cloudy skies, where freedom resides. The landing strip, now in their view, A perfect touchdown, strong and true! Wheels touch down, with a gentle bump, A parachute blooms, a colourful plump. The shuttle slows, its journey done, A mighty cheer, for everyone! The hatch swings wide, a brand new day, Astronauts wave, then start to play. No more space dust, or zero G, Safe and sound, home again, you see!
A little kitty, small and white, Lost in the street, late at night. Bricks worn smooth, a yellow hue, Streetlights hum, a sleepy view. Trash cans clang a lonely song, Where did I go wrong, so long? Kitty, Kitty, soft and meek, Lost her way just last week. Fluffy tail and eyes so green, The saddest sight you've ever seen. "Mew! Mew!" a tiny plea, "Where's my home? Oh, woe is me!" Under benches, dark and deep, Kitty searches, cannot sleep. "Mew! Mew!" a louder sound, As friendly faces gather 'round. A little girl, with ribbons bright, Says, "Kitty, you'll be alright!" A sniff, a leap, a happy bound, A familiar scent is found! The little girl, she knows the way, To Kitty's house, at break of day. Warm milk and cuddles, soft and deep, Kitty's purring, fast asleep. Safe at last, no longer roam, Kitty, Kitty, back at home!
Falling, swirling, down they go, In the forest, soft and slow. Autumn's Gift, a leafy flight, Dancing in the golden light. Red and gold, and brown so deep, Little leaf friends start to sleep. Whispering secrets to the breeze, Rustling gently through the trees. Mr. Oak, with arms so wide, Lets his children gently glide. Mrs. Maple, scarlet bright, Sends her darlings through the night. They tumble down on mossy beds, Making blankets overheads. Badger snoozes, snug and warm, Sheltered from the coming storm. Squirrels collect them, one by one, Padding softly, work is done. Building nests so soft and deep, Where winter secrets they will keep. Crispy crunch beneath your feet, Autumn smells so warm and sweet. A cozy season, through and through, Beautiful season, me and you!
Swimming, so blue, in the deep, dark sea, A dolphin so swift, as happy as can be! Scales shimmer bright in the sun's hidden ray, Ready for adventures, this very fine day. Down in the deep, where the coral castles gleam, And seaweed forests sway in a watery dream, Live fishes and crabs, and starfish so grand, In this underwater world, so close at hand. A dolphin named Zip, with a grin and a leap, Called, "Let's ride the waves! Wake up from your sleep!" The waves, like big slides, all foamy and white, Invited Zip to play, with all of his might. He zoomed up and down, a playful sea sprite, Riding the breakers with pure, bubbly delight. He flipped and he twirled, a silvery flash, Then dived to the bottom in a splashy, cool dash. He leaped through the air, a magnificent sight, Then landed with grace, all sparkly and bright. He whooped with pure joy, "This is the best trip, With waves as my chariot, a delightful skip!" So he swam through the ocean, happy and free, A dolphin of the deep, wild as the sea. His ocean ride ended, but the memory stays, Of sunshine and laughter, and wonderful days!
Singing Song, so sweet and clear, In a tree, banishing all fear! A mighty oak, with branches wide, Where leafy secrets gently hide. Tiny birds, a feathered crew, Robins, sparrows, bluebirds too! They hopped and chirped, a joyful sight, Dancing in the morning light. Making Noise, a happy sound, As melodies did spin around! A tweet, a trill, a warbling call, The sweetest music heard by all! They flapped their wings and sang with glee, A feathered symphony, wild and free! They built their nests and shared their seed, A chorus for the world to heed. Sweet Song, a gentle end, As twilight colors softly blend. The birds all nestled, warm and deep, Their lullaby would lull to sleep. The tree stood tall, a silent friend, Until the Bird Song starts again!
Walking together, down the sun-kissed street, **Holding Hands** Sidewalk cracked like puzzles, beneath our dancing feet. Brick red buildings watched us, tall and oh-so grand, With buzzing bees in flower boxes, close at hand. My best friend clutched my palm, a happy, squeeze so tight, Her laughter bubbled, brighter than the morning light. We hopped over cracks – “Don’t break your mama’s back!” she’d say, And giggled till our tummies ached, along the way. Talking together, secrets whispered low, Of pirate ships and dragons, where adventures flow. We built a castle from a cardboard box we spied, And ruled our kingdom proudly, side-by-happy-side. Then zoomed along like race cars, down a gentle slope, Pretending we were astronauts, with nowhere left to hope, except reach the moon that night. A ladybug landed, then took sudden flight! Now hand in hand, our journey's end is near, But not before our friendship becomes more clear. Though shadows lengthen, and the day is done, Forever friends, we'll always be two, but one. Always together, where hearts forever bind.
A Flying Carpet Crimson and gold, the sky so bright, A canvas of day, bathed in warm light. Fluffy white clouds, like castles so grand, A magical kingdom, close at hand. Old Wizard Willow, with beard long and gray, Stood on his carpet, ready to play. "Flying we'll go!" he chuckled with glee, "On adventures untold, just you wait and see!" The carpet unfurled, with a magical sound, Lifted them gently, right off the ground. Past sunbeams they soared, a shimmering flight, Past rainbow bridges, painted so bright. They danced with the starlings, a swirling delight, And chased after moonbeams in the fading sunlight. Willow pointed his wand, with a wink and a smile, Turning cloud sheep to gold for a magical mile. They dodged grumpy thunder, a rumbling loud roar, And gathered stardust, to sprinkle and pour. The carpet then dipped, in a graceful descent, Towards a hidden valley, divinely sent. Landed softly, on grass emerald green, A place of pure magic, the loveliest seen! Crystal clear rivers and flowers that glowed, Wizard Willow whispered, "Our secret abode!"
In Deseret's sands, sun blazing bright, Where ancient pyramids kiss the light, Explorers bold, with maps unfurled, Sought secrets sleeping in the world. Searching, they came, a fearless band, For legends whispered across the land, Of pharaoh's gold and rooms unseen, Behind the stones, a treasure queen! Climbing they went, up dusty stairs, Ignoring hisses and desert glares, Past hieroglyphs of birds and bees, And stories carried on the breeze. Higher and higher, the sun beat down, Their thirst grew fierce, their faces brown, But onward they pushed, with spirits strong, Where shadows danced, and secrets throng. At the pyramid's peak, a hidden door, Unlatched by whispers from days of yore! Inside, a chamber, dim and grand, A treasure chest held in its hand! Not gold or jewels, as legends claimed, But scrolls of knowledge, brightly flamed With wisdom's fire, for all to see, The greatest treasure, wild and free!
In Savannah's sun-kissed land, so wide, Where golden grasses gently glide, Stood Gerald, the giraffe so tall, Eating leaves, answering nature’s call. He munched and crunched with happy sighs, His long neck reaching for the skies. But the tastiest leaves, a juicy green, Were higher still, a leafy scene! He stretched and strained, a wobbly sight, His spotted legs gripped ever so tight. He stretched some more, a mighty heave, "I'll reach those leaves, I must believe!" A cheeky monkey, swinging near, Let out a giggle, loud and clear. "He'll never reach them, that's for sure!" But Gerald stretched just a little more! He wiggled his nose, he wriggled his toes, He pushed with his might, goodness knows! And then, with a pop, a crack, a whoosh, He touched the leaves with a happy gush! He ate and ate, his tummy full, No longer stretching, playing the fool. With a smile so wide, he looked around, The happiest giraffe the Savannah found!
